The RB5000 KynSHOT Hydraulic Recoil Buffer is designed to fit AR-15 carbines with a collapsible stock. This recoil buffer was designed for the .223 / 5.56mm carbine rifles.
The RB5000 was designed to reduce felt recoil by as much as 20 - 30%, while largely eliminating muzzle rise or muzzle flip. The more experienced you are as a shooter, the more you will feel the benefits particularly in the accuracy of the rifle. Accuracy improvement in follow up shots is greatly improved as is target acquisition time because in many cases the target never leaves the scope sights.

This buffer is designed to fit any AR-15 with a collapsible stock. This buffer was designed as a direct drop in replacement for 5.56 mm / .223 cal. rifles.
The RB5000 is made using 17-4 stainless steel, making it virtually impervious to corrosion. Military grade materials and processes used in manufacture.
Works with a variety of other AR-15 cartridges such as the 6.8 SPC and large bore AR calibers.
For subsonic ammunition (e.g. 300 Blackout) – especially when running unsuppressed – we recommend the model RB5000L, which is tuned for lower energy applications.
For higher power, harder running AR-15 applications (e.g. the .50 BEOWOLF) we recommend stepping up to the KynSHOT model RB5000HP or RB5005. Both of these will fit inside the buffer tube and spring of most AR-15s while removing more energy in operation.
DO NOT USE IN 9mm PCCs. For 9mm AR15s use KynSHOT P/N RB5007, RB5015HD, or RB5020SS.
