    Product Description

    Volquartsen - 597 Target Hammer
    This drop in replacement part for your Remington 597 is machined from a single piece of A2 Tool Steel and then hardened. The hammer notch is surface ground to ensure exacting tolerances for sear engagement and will typically provide a trigger pull that is reduced by approximately 50%. 
     
    This part will fit all Remington 597 rimfire rifles in .22LR, .22WMR or .17HMR.

      Another great Volquartson product

      The hammer install on my Remington 597 was as easy or easier than any other I have done. The trigger pull went from just over 5# with the stock parts to 2.75# with the target hammer. The break was crisp and creep free with the stock hammer and remained that way after the installation. Great product. I highly recommend.
